Kokedama - Moss Ball Houseplant Class West Bend
In this class, you will learn to make Kokedama, which translates to ‘moss ball’. This idea has origins in Japan, where the plant is grown with no pot - only soil and moss.
This method of keeping houseplants makes it incredibly easy to care for. There’s tons of airflow, making the roots incredibly happy and nearly impossible to overwater. We will teach you how to make ones with a flat bottom that could be displayed on a table and how to make ones that can hang from a hook.
Check-in begins at 5:45 PM and class begins at 6 PM. This class takes place outdoors at Tap Yard Beer Gardens in West Bend. The address is 4875 County Highway Z, West Bend WI.
WHAT COMES WITH YOUR TICKET:
*Your first drink
*Three plants of your choice (we will have a bunch for you to pick from)
*Sheet moss
*Appropriate soil
*Fishing line and/or twine
*~1.5 hours of education about plants, how to create the kokedama, how to care for it, the supplies we are working with (so you can do it again on your own), etc.
